Anthropic introduces Claude Design as AI-era visual design tool
Today, Anthropic Labs launched Claude Design, a visual design tool powered by Claude Opus 4.7. Users describe what they need in natural language, and Claude builds the first version instantly. Then refine through conversation, comments, direct edits, or custom sliders.
Claude Design supports multiple use cases:
- Realistic prototypes: Turn static mockups into interactive prototypes without code review
- Product wireframes: PMs sketch feature flows and hand off to Claude Code
- Design explorations: Quickly generate multiple directions to compare
- Pitch decks: Go from outline to complete PPTX or Canva in minutes
- Marketing collateral: Create landing pages, social assets, and campaign visuals
